Ingredients
  

  • 1 ¼ cup All purpose flour or Gluten free Blend
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp cane sugar or coconut sugar
  • 1 ¼ cup plant based milk
  • 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 banana or 1/4 cup applesauce or 2 tbsp neutral oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your waffle maker
  • If using banana, mash your banana in a small bowl
  • In a separate large bowl, sift in the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and cinnamon and combine.
  • In a measuring cup, measure the plant based milk, add apple cider vinegar and stir. Allow to sit for 5 minutes to cuddle to make "buttermilk".
  • Mix the wet ingredients with the dry and combine to make your batter, don't over mix.
  • Ladle enough batter to cover your waffle surface. If you are using banana, your waffles will brown more due to the sugar, No don't worry, they will taste lovely
  • Top with maple syrup, fresh fruit and vegan whip topping if you want this fancy!
