Healthy Vegan Chocolate Donuts- Oil Free

Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ¼ cup nut butter (almond, peanut or sunflower)
- ½ cup plant based milk
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- ⅓ cup cocoa powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- pinch of salt
Chocolate glaze
- ½ cup vegan chocolate chips
- splash of plant based milk or cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, mash banana and add remaining wet ingredients, vanilla, nut butter, plant based milk and maple syrup. Combine well.
- Sift in the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not over mix or you will have tough donuts.
- Prepare you donut molds. I’m using silicone and I don’t grease mine but you can spray yours. Using either two spoons, or pastry bag, fill the donut mold. Make sure the batter is dispersed equally.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.Meanwhile, in a small bowl mix the sugar and cinnamon together and set aside
- Dip each donut and enjoy
Chocolate Glaze
- Add chocolate chips to microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds and stir each time until melted and add splash of milk to thin out.
