Apple Baked Oatmeal

Fall is in the air and apple picking is all the rage this time of year. Whether you’re picking your own apples or just buying them at your favorite grocery store. If pumpkin spice everything is not your thing, do not worry, I have you with this tasty and easy Apple Baked Oatmeal. You will love this for breakfast, brunch or even a healthy snack.

Apple baked oatmeal is so healthy, easy and great for meal prep and it can help you lose weight. How can it help you lose weight? Oats contain many antioxidants and these compounds may help reduce your blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugars and have anti-inflammatory effects.

What you need to make this-

  • Old fashioned rolled oats
  • Plant based milk of your choice
  • Chia seeds are a complete protein and contain all 9 amino acids that cannot be made by the body.
  • Apples and applesauce, I like Honeycrisp, Macintosh or Granny Smith if you like something more tart
  • Cinnamon is rich in antioxidants and is a warming spice

All you need is a baking dish and a few pantry staples and you have a wonderful filling breakfast or snack.
