Heat large pan to medium high heat. Add a splash of water and saute onion, celery and carrots. Continue to add water to saute until they start to soften about 5 minutes.
Add garlic and stir for 2 minutes. Add another splash of water and add the curry powder and saute to bloom the spice for about 1 minutes
Add the rice and tamari and combine well. Cook for 3 minutes and add the thawed peas. Serve
